Mallory currently works as an Outreach and Communications Coordinator at the Center for Agroforestry at the University of Missouri. With a background in journalism and nonprofit management, she brings her passion for communicating about environmental issues and solutions to her work at the Center. She currently co-chairs the Agroforestry Coalition’s Communications Working Group, where she and other members are working to establish a nation-wide Agroforestry Speaker’s Bureau for media and policymakers. She manages the Center’s social media accounts, co-edits the Action in Agroforestry monthly e-newsletter, drafts and edits outreach publications, produces videos for the Mizzou Agroforestry Youtube channel, and helps manage the Center's website. She graduated with a masters from the Missouri School of Journalism in 2022, where she was awarded the Smith/Patterson Science Journalism Fellowship from the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting.
